About Thresholds
The curation presents a visual journey through the spaces where different worlds converge, as told through 22 unique frames capturing candid moments from Southern Portugal and Morocco.
Guided by motifs of natural boundaries, architectural transitions, and human interactions at the precipice of change, "Thresholds" invites viewers to witness the spaces between—where land meets sea, where tradition encounters modernity, where the familiar gives way to the unknown.
A personal milestone
Thresholds is my debut photography gallery. As an added challenge, I took it upon myself to arrange the gallery and the opening event in the span of three weeks, from commitment to opening night.
I'm making short-form videos about the story behind this 21-day long journey on my Instagram and YouTube.

Tamir Yankevich
A storyteller, first and foremost. The stories vary, but as an artist I embody a jack of many digital trades, leveraging the outputs of my work as raw materials in support of the world building required for the experience of the stories to be impactful.
The most recent such culmination was my gallery, Thresholds.
My chosen mediums are visual in nature. My work is fluid and takes me between the realms of design, photo and video, as well as full stack web development.
I am an Ironman in training, a traveling photographer, and founder of a design and branding collective over at Koru Studio. My life's work is dedicated to participating in and empowering those who are solving the climate challenge.
If you're here because you like what you've seen, I'm always curious about new ways to contribute on projects. Reach out if you'd like to work together or think I can help you with your project!
